Situated in Adelaide, capital of South Australia and Australia's wine capital the National Wine Centre of Australia showcases and promotes awareness of more than 10,000 different Australian wines and more than 60 wine regions in the open cellar.

Central to the National Wine Centre of Australia is the Wine Discovery Journey, which takes visitors on an interactive journey through the past, present and future of the Australian wine industry via state of the art, interactive, multi-media technology. Visitors can talk with holograms of famous Australian winemakers, participate in the winemaking process and learn what makes Australian wines so unique and the envy of the rest of the wine-producing world.

After having finely tuned their senses in the Wine Discovery Journey, visitors are ready to taste the extensive selection of wines available from the Australian wine regions in the Centre's Concourse Cafe. The Concourse Cafe is open daily for wine tastings and great food. Relax and enjoy fresh espresso coffee and a selection of Australian Cheeses or select from the seasonal lunch menu. Browse through the extensive range of wines, products and merchandise available for purchase.

Australian wines are on tasting, and the wines are changed regularly to showcase different regions and varieties.

Other features of the National Wine Centre of Australia include on-site educational facilities, wine tourism information and the wine retail store.
