There are approximately 33 cellar doors scattered throughout the Adelaide Hills, so make sure you plan which ones you want to visit. You might want to organise a tour so you don't drink and drive.
Bring A Basket
Most of the markets in the Adelaide Hills, including the Adelaide Hills Market at Lobethal, Uraidla and Stirling sell gourmet foods and local produce. It's a good idea to bring along an empty basket or bag to fill.
Climate
The Adelaide Hills is one of the few regions in Australia that enjoys four distinct seasons. As a rule, maximum temperatures are generally 2-4 degrees cooler than Adelaide city, making the region a popular retreat during summer months.
Water preservation
