Wine and Food Events
The McLaren Vale Sea and Vines Festival, held each year in June, gives you the chance to combine great food, wine and music. Make your way around the participating wineries where you can taste sensational seafood while sipping on a glass of McLaren Vale's finest. Talented musicians add to the atmosphere. Designate a driver or get a group together and charter a bus.
October is Fiesta time across the Fleurieu Peninsula - a time to celebrate not only the release of the new season's wine but to also taste the new extra virgin olive oils. There are tastings of regional foods at every turn, cooking demonstrations, food-trade fairs, culinary competitions to find the most creative matching of our regional food and wines, and invitations to picnic in the springtime warmth, to delight in the landscape with a full hamper.
