Kangaroo Island Wineries & Cellar Doors

drag onto travel planner

Kangaroo Island is South Australia's newest wine region with 30 growers and more than 200 hectares of vines. Choose from 18 exciting labels, five of which are now exported overseas to mainland Australia, the UK, USA, Europe and Asia.

Kangaroo Island wines are known for their strong varietal fruit flavours and intense colours. A temperate climate ensures a long, slow ripening of the grapes. Sample wine at one of the Island's cellar doors, restaurants, Celebrations Liquor Store in Penneshaw or Ozone Cellars in Kingscote.
