If you're hiring a houseboat or staying for a while, there is no need to worry about grocery shopping before you arrive - most supermarkets are open seven days a week, from 6am and some until 10pm, even on weekends.

Food and wine is the Riverland's specialty and you will find numerous outlets stocking fresh seasonal fruit and regional produce.

Cammies Country Living and Antiques in Paringa is sure to take you back in time and CobbWebb Leadlight Studio at Winkie produces custom leadlight, glass mosaics, sculptures and kiln-fired glassware.

In Berri visit the newly opened Gilbert Street Art Gallery that features works by local artist or Country Arts SA River Lands Gallery on Wilson Street.
