The Pot by Emma McCaskill is a neighbourhood restaurant. Our kitchen spends their time sourcing the best ingredients and honing their skills to make original, deliciously crafted food with a focus on clean, balanced flavours.
Our menu is designed to be flexible, and is constantly evolving. It reflects the best produce that we can deliver to the table each day, with a sense of warmth and generosity that The Pot has always been known for.
An intimate space, The Pot's walls are adorned with the artwork of Tom Gleghorn, one of Australia's most awarded artists (and loyal Pot customer). The dining space has a view to the kitchen, where Chef's creativity is on display.
We were honoured to recently be awarded one ‘hat’ in the first national Good Food Guide 2018, and one ‘star’ by Gourmet Traveller.
With a career spanning over 15 years at working some of the world’s leading restaurants, Emma McCaskill's position prior to relaunching The Pot in July 2017 was co-Executive chef at the highly-acclaimed Magill Estate Restaurant. Prior to this, Emma worked at Narisawa (two Michelin- starred restaurant in Tokyo). Emma has also worked at Sat Bains (UK), Tetsuya's (Sydney), and Ezard (Melbourne).
