Jessie's Cottage is a restored 1890s cottage in the heart of historic Penola, just a short drive or cycle to the famous Coonawarra wine region.
The cottage has been renovated and restored and now offers accommodation for up to four in two bedrooms each with comfortable beds, goose down doonas and hand-made patchwork quilts.
You will love the cosy open fire, as well as a reverse-cycle air-conditioning, flat screen television, DVD. There are plenty of books to read and playing cards. Laundry facilities are located in the bathroom.
You will enjoy generous provisions supplied for a full cooked breakfast, with home-made jams, plunger coffee and home-made biscuits.
Jessie's Cottage is set in its own pretty garden so you can sit on the front veranda for your coffee in the morning, or sip a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over a vineyard and large gum trees in the evening.
Local Penola attractions include cafes, restaurants, galleries, interesting shops, cellar door outlets and the Mary MacKillop Interpretive Centre, all just a short walk away.
