Peggy’s Retreat is nestled on nine acres of tree studded pastoral land in the Southern Flinders Ranges; 20 kilometres north of Jamestown and 21 km south of Peterborough. This original pastoral homestead was built in the late 1890's and has been extensively renovated and extended.
Relaxation and rejuvenation are the unashamed goals of Peggy’s Retreat, with good food and good wine offered along with accommodation for up to eight people in two queen size ensuite rooms and one full access suite with ensuite, queen size bedroom and double sitting/carers room.
Located 20 minutes to the north is the historic railway town of Peterborough with the Steamtown Rail Heritage Museum. Bundaleer Forest, Australia's first forest plantation south of Jamestown is just 25 minutes away.
The Clare Valley, historic Burra, the Mount Remarkable National Park and the Flinders Ranges are all within an hours' drive of Peggy's Retreat.
