The Lookout Cave Motel is located in the opal-mining town of Coober Pedy in the South Australian outback. They are minutes from the town centre in a secure and quiet location with ample parking and as the name suggests, the Lookout Cave offers the best views in Coober Pedy. They are the largest underground motel featuring 15 motel rooms, two original miners dugouts and a recently refurbished two bedroom self contained queen apartment. Sleeping underground is a one of a kind experience, unique in its entirety and an opportunity not to be missed. The motel rooms cater for the single traveller through to families/groups. Family rooms can sleep up to six people. All rooms are underground off an extensive L shaped hallway and feature natural sandstone rock and include a private ensuite with toilet and shower, breakfast crockery and cutlery, tea, coffee and biscuits, toaster, kettle and 32 inch LED television.
