Echo Farm

From $5.00

Echo Farm offers visitors an opportunity to experience life on a small working farm, to interact with farm and native animals and view vintage and antique displays in the cottage and outbuildings offering a glimpse of rural life from 1890 to 1950. Take the self guided Echo Farm walk to meet & greet the animals in an old style farm environment including goats, poultry, pigs, emu, sheep, horses, wallaby & donkey. Feed most of the animals and pet some of our favorites. Explore the cottage & outbuildings furnished with personal items, furniture and machinery to give you an idea of how a pioneer farming family lived. Open the cupboards and you'll find things you never knew about and things you may have forgotten about! A small range of local produce, snacks and drinks are available including homemade biscuits and preserves, and the farm has an accessible public toilet. Allow 1 to 2 hours but can be done quicker if time poor. Suitable for people from 3 years to as old as you like! (some walking on uneven ground required) Covered shoes recommended. No pets allowed. Non-smoking establishment. Please note we are not a petting zoo. Groups welcome by prior arrangement.
