Since its humble beginnings in 1994 the Renmark Rose Festival has grown to be a major South Australian regional event and the largest festival of its type in the Southern Hemisphere attracting thousands of visitors and contributing significantly to the region's economy. The festival has now grown to incorporate most of the Riverland and we are proud to incorporate events, attractions and open gardens from throughout the region. We are also proud of the diverse range of activities and events that are offered with a number of new events and attractions complementing our existing major activities. More than just a garden exhibition, the rose festival is a celebration of community and region, its wonderful produce and its spectacular weather. It recognises the regions involvement in arts, sports and economy and provides a great environment for visitors to see our region at its wonderful best.
