From $142

Details
Drive through the southern suburbs along the metropolitan coastline, and enjoy coastal views as you head to the McLaren Vale Visitor Information Centre for morning tea. Then it's on to your first cellar door, Wirra Wirra Vineyards, located amongst the gum trees in the historic ironstone cellars. Here you will enjoy a short tour of the cellars and tastings of the range of quality wines. Stop at Red Poles for a delicious two-course lunch incorporating fresh, local produce. This unique restaurant is a combination of a restaurant, art gallery and cellar door. If you have time, you may wish to try the 'paddle' of local beers/wines from a local winemaker (additional cost). Next visit d'Arenbergs and taste a range of wines in the historic Stables, whilst the staff share the d'Arenberg winemaking philosophies and the history of the fourth generation family owned business. The final stop is Hardy's Tintara, located on the main street of McLaren Vale. Choose to enjoy further wine tastings/stroll along the main street of this delightful town. Return to Adelaide via the seaside suburb of Glenelg before returning to Adelaide. Operates: 9.15am daily from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, 85 Franklin Street.
