Adelaide Hills Wineries Day Tour
The Adelaide Hills produces some of the best cool-climate wines in Australia and is home to arguably some of Australia's best Sauvignon Blanc.
We head up the freeway and our first destination in Deviation Wines at Scott Creek (AUD5.00 tasting fee redeemable on purchase). An antipasto platter is supplied at the first cellar door.
Our next stop is Barristers Block at Woodside (AUD5.00 tasting fee applies redeemable on purchase).
We then we travel to Lobethal and visit Robert Johnston Wine in the Old Woollen Sheds at Lobethal (AUD10.00 tasting fee applies which is redeemable on purchase).
Lunch is at the Lobethal Bierhause (additional cost) there is also the opportunity to do some tastings with a "paddle" of eight different brewed beers.
After lunch we visit Melbas Chocolates and also Woodside Cheesewrights or we can take the long way home stopping at a local pub for an ale on the way.
Alfies bus is fully licensed so beverages may be consumed in transit.
