Clare Valley Intimate Winery Tour
The Clare Valley Intimate Winery Tour lets you discover "the Riesling Capital of Australia".
Located a leisurely two hour drive from Adelaide, it is a hidden gem amongst the vines, famed for its wine and pioneering heritage. Every tour is tailored to suit the individual and focuses on visiting niche and boutique wineries as well as local attractions. With our personal relationships with the wineries you will enjoy free wine tastings (premium tastings not included).
Choose from attractions including Sevenhill Cellars - the oldest vineyard in the area. Settled by Jesuit Priests in 1851, you can see vignerons at work in 150 year old cellars, Martindale Hall - a Georgian mansion, most famously used in the Australian film Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Minatro Maze, a living hedge maze providing fun for all ages.
For those of who enjoy a quenching Ale, try one of the hand crafted beers from one of the Micro-Breweries in the region.
James Halliday, an Australian wine critic, says,"unlocking the secrets of the Clare Valley is a pastime open to all who visit this most prestigious part of Australia".
Note: Tour price varies depending on the number of guests.
