Day one: Adelaide to Birdsville. Make your way to the Adelaide Airport by 5:45am to be whisked away on a 6:30am Qantas/Alliance flight to Olympic Dam. On arrival at Olympic Dam you will board a Wrights Air flight to Innamincka. Following lunch, fly over the spectacular Coongie Lakes and onto the outback town of Birdsville for a restaurant meal and a well deserved rest.
Day two: Birdsville to William Creek. After a hearty breakfast in Birdsville, board your Wrights Air flight and venture over Big Red, onto the Simpson Desert, along the Diamantina, through Goyder’s Lagoon, tracking the Warburton to Oodnadatta for lunch. After lunch, fly over Lake Eyre and onto the small outback town of William Creek, which is home to the world’s largest cattle station, Anna Creek Station.
Day three: William Creek to Adelaide. After breakfast at William creek, fly over Anna Creek cattle station, over the amazing colours of the Painted Desert, and onto Coober Pedy. After lunch, it’s onto Olympic Dam where you will bid farewell to your Wrights Air pilot, change planes, and fly back to Adelaide, with Qantas/Alliance, arriving at approximately 7.30pm.
