Three Day Lake Eyre Tour and Cooper Creek Package
Day one: Adelaide to the Prairie Hotel, Parachilna. Once collected from your Adelaide accommodation, the tour heads for the beautiful Flinders Ranges via Clare Valley wine region, Magnetic Hill and Hawker. After lunch, tour through the geological wonders of Brachina Gorge and catch a glimpse at the rare Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby. The tour will leave the Gorge during sunset, arriving at the famous outback Prairie Hotel in Parachilna.
Day two: After breakfast, depart Parachilna onboard Fargher Air Safaris, flying north over Coongie Lakes to Innamincka for a gourmet lunch. Following lunch, fly west along the Cooper Creek to Lake Eyre returning to Parachilna mid afternoon. Late in the afternoon, you can enjoy a ‘Fargher Lager’ under a Parachilna sunset, and go train spotting, as the longest train in the Southern Hemisphere meanders past the Prairie Hotel enroute to Port Augusta. For dinner, enjoy fine dining in a remote bush setting.
Day three: Parachilna to Adelaide. The tour returns to Adelaide via the quaint town of Melrose at the base of Mt Remarkable, in the southern part of the Flinders Ranges. The tour arrives in Adelaide approximately 6pm.
