Cross the longest man made structure in the world and continue onto the largest cattle station in the world (Anna Creek Station). Pass the lake with the longest place name in Australia (Lake Cadibarrawirracanna, Cadi for short) and arrive at the largest salt lake in Australia (Lake Eyre). Haligan Bay is the only accessible point by road (track) to the western side of Lake Eyre. The track is not easy, but it is the only way to get to the lake other than by air. After visiting the lake, return via William Creek (the smallest town in Australia) and stop at the famous William Creek pub to wash away some dust.
Operates: daily by arrangement.
