Centennial Park

Centennial Park’s stunning botanical grounds are a welcoming sanctuary for all who visit; promoting peace, healing, renewal and hope, enabling connection to each other and those no longer with us.

A resting place of more than 150,000 individuals, including many historic figures, Centennial Park provides a valuable emotional “anchor point” for their family and friends.

Established in 1936 in the foothills of Adelaide’s inner south, Centennial Park is Adelaide's largest and most beautiful cemetery and memorial park with sweeping views of the city and glimpses of the ocean. Our beautifully landscaped grounds span 40 hectares (100 acres) and include over 30 thoughtfully designed gardens and burial areas, three unique service spaces in our Jubilee Complex.

Visit Wildflowers Café for coffee, cake or lunch, browse Gifts @ Centennial Park, our beautiful boutique-style gift shop or learn about the inner workings of the cemetery with our Behind the Scenes Tours.

Centennial Park is open all year ‘round, and we invite you to experience our tranquil grounds first-hand.
