Overview
Thanks to the South Australian Government and South Australian Tourism Commission, Swimming Australia is delighted to be heading to the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre for its pinnacle event in 2021. Excitingly this marks the third consecutive Olympic / Paralympic qualification event staged in Adelaide.
The 2021 Australian Swimming Trials will attract Australia's best, as they compete to be nominated to the Australian team to compete at the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Qualifying times must be achieved after 1 January 2019.
Minimum age is 13 years for females and 14 years for males.
Minimum Age for MC swimmers is 12 years.
Age is taken as at the first day of competition, which is 12 June 2021.
Swimming Australia will continually reassess qualifying times for National Events due to the evolving COVID-19 situation to ensure that swimmers (from affected areas) are not disadvantaged in qualifying.
