A taste of Italy, Amadio style
Italy is the inspiration for this night of wine and deliciously authentic cuisine at Amadio Wines’ Felixstow cellar door.
The winery’s alternative varieties of pinot grigio, sangiovese, montepulciano, sagrantino and quartet blanc will be matched to five courses prepared by international chef Roberto di Massa. Your ticket includes prosecco on arrival, followed by five glasses of award-winning Amadio wine and cocktail-style food throughout the evening. Di Massa will use the freshest South Australian produce for his creations, with the menu to feature traditional Neapolitan wood-oven pizza and other homemade Italian-style dishes taken from Amadio and Di Massa family recipes dating back to 1936.
Born in Ischia, a little island in the Gulf of Naples, di Massa started his culinary journey aged 15 and went on to learn from the very best pizza aficionados. He is now an independent consultant working around the world — including in Adelaide for this special Tasting Australia event.
Amadio Wines was established in 1936 and takes pride in the consistent quality of its range. The business was founded by Giovanni Amadio, who migrated to Australia in 1927 and found work as a market gardener before turning to winemaking professionally nine years later.
