Overview

The Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition is the most prestigious guitar competition in the Southern Hemisphere. Taking place annually, the Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition has already provided career-launching opportunities for six incredible young guitarists:

2010 - Jin-Hee Kim (South Korea)
2012 - Andrey Lebedev (Australia)
2014 - Bogdan Mihailescu (Romania)
2016 - Marko Topchii (Ukraine)
2018 - Miles Johnston (Australia)
2019 - Andrew Blanch (Australia)
2020 - Pietro Locatto (Italy)

First Prize includes $10,000 (AUD), a coveted Jim Redgate guitar valued at $23,000 (AUD), and a concert engagement at an upcoming Adelaide Guitar Festival.

The final concert performance is a free, public event and will take place 24 July in the Space Theatre. Registration is required.
