Beam Camp - School Holiday Program
Next Occurrence : 14 Apr 2021
Overview
Beam is the innovative holiday camp for bright young sparks. Give your kids the opportunity to soar past the boundaries of every day life while exploring coding, immersive virtual reality and drones. Beam Campers even get the opportunity create their own virtual reality content!
Our program has been purposefully designed by our Head of STEM Programs, Dr Marissa Bond, to build essential skills in design thinking, ideation, empathy, self assessment and iteration. Beam Campers will become familiar with 3D environments, explore real world problems, and develop their technical abelites while making friends and having fun.
This year, we're blasting off to outer space! We have both a two-day program, 'Red Planet Rescue', and three-day program, 'Beyond 2021'. Beam Camp is suitable for kids aged 7-13, and will be held at Prince Alfred College, Kent Town, in April 2021.
