Early 1970s: the hills of Los Angeles are alive with a new sound - an amazing group of young singers and songwriters were at the dawn of their legendary careers. Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Carole King, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, America, The Byrds and many others made their home in the rural idyll of Laurel Canyon, and forged a laid back west coast sound that is loved to this day.
