A blazing double bill paying homage to the forefathers of shred.

Local guitarist and composer Cam Blokland takes us back to the 80's with this tribute to the origins of the speed-oriented rock guitar style known as "shredding". In this concert he will guide you on a blistering journey through the catalogue of Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen and more.

Simon Hosford’s Fair Warning keep the rock torch ignited with their recreation of Eddie Van Halen’s distinctive 1978 debut album. Simon Hosford (guitar), Gerry Pantazis (drums), Jason Vorherr (bass) and David Bowers (vocals) unite to play this iconic album in its entirety, honouring the musical legends and their incredible impact on the musical landscape.
