Guitar Winter School - Blues & Roots

Overview

Adelaide Guitar Festival Winter School is a week-long guitar course which provides an opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s finest guitarists in a small, immersive, guitar playing and skills development intensive. The two streams available in 2022 are: Blues & Roots (11 – 15 July 2022) and Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra (18 – 22 July 2022).

The Blues & Roots program focusses on chord progressions, creative song writing, collaborative development, and blues guitar techniques to help provide participants with the skills required to take the next step in their contemporary playing journey. This stream is led by Cal Williams Jr with special guest tutors and is aimed at players of all ages (12+) from beginner to intermediate level.
