Manic Making Workshops: Say It Like It Is – T-shirt Printing

Inspired by her own journey of self-advocacy during perimenopause, Claire Wildish offers this workshop as a way for participants to create wearable statements that express their personal truths. In this session, participants will explore the technique of block printing to craft a custom T-shirt bearing a message that reflects their unique experience. Claire’s story underscores the workshop’s theme: after years of seeking validation for her symptoms, her eventual diagnosis led to a moment of clarity rather than relief. Her choice to channel her frustration into creative expression inspired the idea for the T-shirt, a wearable statement of resilience and empowerment. Each participant is invited to wear their hand-printed creation at the final soirée, where it will become part of a larger conversation about individual stories and the shared experience of navigating change.

Please note that participants are required to bring their own t-shirts for use in the workshop, as t-shirts will not be provided. All other materials needed for the workshop are included in the price and will be provided on the day.
