Overview
The Strength for Life program promotes health and well-being among people 50+, and 40+ for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders, through strength training programs run by accredited fitness providers. The program encourages older South Australians to attend strength training sessions by promoting the benefits of strength training.
At EFM SAHMRI we are a Tier 1 Facility that involves exercise physiologists directly in the program; baseline testing conducted at commencement and after 3 months. Our program attracts rebates from Health Funds (and sometimes from Medicare through care plans).
We run our classes Tuesday and Thursday 9.30 am - 10.30 am and Wednesday and Friday 11.30 am - 12.30 am.
