Gather around. This Town Square Kitchen meal honours family: our anchors through the storm. Feast on shared dishes from stars whose stories translate to the table. It promises to be an evening of relaxed generosity, one shaped by heirloom recipes and the happy chaos of home.

Guiding the menu: Adelaide's Ayubi family - best known for bringing us the unforgettable Parwana Afghan Kitchen - will be joined by MasterChef Australia favourite Rose Adam and chef David Swain (Fino Vino, Fino Seppeltsfield), a champion of local produce and convivial dining.

Parwana, together with offshoots Kutchi Deli Parwana and Shirni Parwana, offers the traditional flavours of Afghan cuisine through recipes held close to the heart. History and hopes are reflected in its dishes, each capturing a personal connection.

Adam launched The Middle Store following time on television and proudly shares Lebanese family heritage through treasured staples. Her Melrose Park cafe quickly became a neighbourhood go-to.

Regional inspiration remains plentiful for Swain, who opened Fino Willunga with Sharon Romeo in 2006. It moved north to Barossa destination Seppeltsfield in 2014, with Fino Vino following five years later. Swain embraced shared dishes long before the pack; the seasonal menus he continues to turn out are loved for their easy elegance.
