Building on the success of last year's Westside Fringe launch, the City of West Torrens is proud to announce an even bigger celebration as an official Adelaide Fringe council!
The council's various community facilities will serve as official Fringe venues, coming alive with a variety of performances that showcase the arts in their most vibrant forms.
But the excitement doesn’t won't stop there – as the entire district will be part of the festivities, with shows popping up in venues and theatres around West Torrens, offering a dynamic range of experiences as part of the iconic Adelaide Fringe. Local businesses will be igniting the Westside with an exciting lineup of Adelaide Fringe events.
Highlights include captivating shows at the renowned Star Theatre and the beloved Wheatsheaf Hotel, along with a range of other outstanding venues. If you love art exhibitions, be sure to visit the acclaimed local gallery, Mrs Harris’ Shop, to experience Artists at Work.
Also, don’t miss their very own the council's Cowandilla Community Room, hosting Heart of the Outback: Expressions of the Land—a stunning mixed-media exhibition celebrating the untamed beauty of the outback.
