The Monastery Sacred Gardens Lunch & Devonshire Tea
Relax in the tranquil setting of the Sacred Garden. Take a stroll amongst the fourteen magnificent Carrara marble Italian-carved sculptures from Italy, which form the centrepiece of the 'Sacred Garden' in the peaceful grounds of The Monastery at Glen Osmond.
The garden is nestled at the base of the Mt Lofty Ranges as you descend upon Adelaide. The Sacred Garden is cared for by a small team of volunteers. It is an area dedicated to peace and tranquility for reflection and prayer.
The garden is slowly over time being converted to an Australian Native garden and boasts one of Adelaide’s largest Morton Bay Fig trees, and is recognised by The National Trust of South Australia as a place of historical heritage significance.
Finish with a delicious Devonshire Tea in the Sacred Garden Pergola or the Monastery Dining Room, which reflects the atmosphere of times gone by.
Guided tours with Devonshire Tea or Lunch are available by appointment.
