Flinders Ranges and Outback - Eight Day Tour

Depart Adelaide travelling in a comfortable Toyota Landcruiser four wheel drive vehicle.

Travel through coastal towns of Port Wakefield, Port Pirie to Port Augusta. Call into Wadlata Outback Centre and Arid Lands Botanical Gardens. Continue to Coober Pedy with a day trip to the Painted Desert.

Visit the Breakaways and Moon Plain before heading to William Creek. There is an opportunity for an optional air flight over Lake Eyre.

Travel along the Oodnadatta Track to Marree; inspect the ruins of Farina, and on to Copley. South of Parachilna we enter Brachina Gorge which traces the geological history of the area for hundreds of million years. Drive through Bunyeroo Valley where vantage points such as the Razor Back Look Out provide breathtaking views of the eastern side of Wilpena Pound.

Return to Adelaide via Orroroo, Terowie and the Gilbert Valley.
