Pop Up Gallery & Studios - "She is becoming" SALA Exhibition
Next Occurrence : 22 Aug 2019
Visit an exciting new Artist lead initiative for SALA Festival 2019, an innovative 'Pop Up Gallery & Studio' created by 5 local Barossa Artists, Janelle Amos, Renee de Saxe, Sally Etherton, Beryl Hunter and Kirsty Radford who form the "She is" Art Collective.
Transforming the unused iconic former National Bank building in Nuriootpa into a 3 room Art Gallery, the 5 artists have created a truely unique experience exhibiting their latest contemporary artworks. With 62 artworks on show and available for sale direct from the artists, this is a unique opportunity to experience meaningful connection with the Artists behind the work.
The concept also includes a working painters studio, a space usually held sacred, this is a very special opportunity to enter the world of each painter. Chat to the Artists about their practice as they work and paint in studio throughout the month. Excitingly these artists have bought it all out in the open to create connection and conversation around the inspiring possibilities of creative expression.
Not to be missed. An incredibly unique experience in the Barossa's Arts scene, adding much needed contemporary Arts vibrancy to the region.
