Winter Walking Season: Barossa Cultural Walking Tour
Next Occurrence : 21 Jul 2019
There’s nothing like a Sunday stroll on a crisp Winter’s morning in the Barossa – the green hills framing the scenery as slow and steady vineyard custodians carefully prune their grapevines, ready for the dormant winter season.
It’s a wonderful time of year for walking, as the lush green of the Valley floor contrasts with the neat rows of vineyard and the morning light reveals overnight spider webs glistening like jewels through old barb wire fences.
During the Winter Walking Season our Barossa Cultural Walking Tour focuses on the themes of the season, reflecting on the extraordinary journey of the early settlers, their determination, perseverance and unwavering faith. We explore their daily lives, celebrations, food culture, stories and traditions… and so much more!
Join us as we bring the Barossa's cultural heritage to life. We look forward to walking with you!
