Barossa Daimlers Ultimate Tour
Experience the ultimate in Barossa Valley Touring in a classic 1962 Daimler with John Baldwin who’ll guide you on a discovery of The Barossa's famous wineries, Penfolds, Seppeltsfield and Torbreck.
The Barossa is famous for its full bodied shiraz made from some of the oldest vines in the world and you’ll learn of the history, culture and terroir.
Put on your white lab coat, and blend your own rhone style red wine (grenache, shiraz & Mouvedre) in the Penfolds laboratory. Take home a 375ml bottle of your blended wine and also taste the current Penfolds Grange.
Enjoy a 2-course lunch at Vintners and then you are off to Seppeltsfield. Taste wines from the Paramount Range and then take the rare opportunity to draw and taste fortified wine from the barrel of your birth year. Your final indulgence is the unforgettable, 100-year-old Para Liqueur Tawny. Seppeltsfield is home of the world's only continuous collection of fortified wines dating back to 1878.
Next stop is Torbreck Wines to experience a private tasting of super luxury premium Barossa wines at their famous Roennfeldt Road cellar door.
Afternoon tea is at Maggie Beers, before you are dropped off to your Barossa accommodation at 5.30pm.
