Barossa Winery Day Tour in classic 1962 Daimler - BD01Price from $325
Experience a day of memorable, private Barossa Valley touring in a rare and classic, air conditioned 1962 Daimler. Tour with well respected Barossa local, John Baldwin, a very personable fellow with extensive wine knowledge, a great sense of humour and who knows The Barossa intimately.
No two tours are the same. John designs the day around the particular interests of the party, visiting famous iconic wineries like Penfolds and Seppeltsfield, or introducing guests to smaller family owned gems only a local would know. Passionate commentary of the history, culture, architecture and terroir plus the art of winemaking is ever present.
Meet the winemakers and local characters, indulge in cheese and local produce tastings, and be treated as a VIP at all wineries. Tours are exclusive to one party ensuring flexibility is a premium.
With only six of these vehicles brought to Australia in the sixties, for Royal Tours, and seating eight persons, this tour is a rare offering.
Operates: Daily at 10am from Barossa and 9am from Adelaide and returns at 5pm. Adelaide pickups extra AUD250.00.
Full day tour includes wine tastings at up to six wineries, two course lunch with wine at Vintners Restaurant and a/tea at Maggie Beers
