The warmth of Burra Bakehouse surrounds you in its history while providing upgraded, modern facilities. Pet and family-friendly, the three-bedroom cottage offers sleeping for up to five with Queen, Single and Double beds.
A slow-combustion wood fire in one of the two lounge rooms provides atmosphere and warmth while air conditioning adds to summer comfort.
This bakery served the copper miners from 1852 to 1921 and the original baker’s oven is still on display. The Original bakery storeroom is now a slate-lined bathroom
This delightful cottage has steps and includes a fully fenced yard for your furry friends and children to explore the acreage of landscaped and native gardens. With a stainless steel cooker and an abundance of counter space the kitchen is the heart to this history filled cottage.
Pets are not permitted on furniture or left alone in the cottage.
Responsibility of guests to check the fence line to ensure your dog cannot escape under or over the fence (fence approx 1.3 meters high).
There is ample off-street parking.
Limited complimentary firewood is provided during the months of May to October. Extra wood can be obtained at the BP Service Station opposite the Council Chambers on Market Square.
