A Taste of Eyre Peninsula - Cleve
The event is a hive of activity situated on a bustling intersection just in from the western entrance with colourful flags to distinguish the "marquee of flavours". The events' mission is to support and promote the production and sale of fresh local seasonal produce from the Eyre Peninsula and to assist in the development of a strong food culture in the region.
Daily in the marquee local chefs and producers will prepare light meals using oysters, prawns, octopus, whiting, squid, mussels, pork and goat. Other products available for tasting and purchase include pickled seafood, soups, gourmet seasonal platters, baked items, olives and olive oil, jams, pastes, sauces, honey, fermented and picklesd vegetables, beer and wines. For the sweet tooth try chocolate liqueur olives or European biscuits and pastries with an Eyre Roasted or Boston Bean coffee from one of the coffee bars. There will be plenty of room to sit, linger and explore the regions flavours, so come and enjoy.
