Mirning Caves and Country

Overview

This exclusive tour is for those looking to slow down and experience what it must have been like to live in the remote arid Nullarbor.

The tour includes: a balanced mixture of bush camping, walking, exploring caves and rock art. They start with a welcome to country and watching whales at the Head of Bight and they stay at their bush camp experiencing food prepared by their chef. The next day you'll learn about the Aboriginal people's connection to land and caves, view ancient hand prints and rock arrangements, visit special places and hear about Aboriginal stories and beliefs. On the final day you'll visit an extraordinary place, a Heritage listed site and find out why the Aboriginal people have such a deep connection to country.

Extended tours include sunrise breakfasts on the cliffs; learning about contemporary culture; a walk along an ancient trail; and by prior arrangement scenic flights.
