Seal Bay Sunrise ExclusivePrice from $1400
An up-close and personal encounter with sea lions at sunrise is a unique way to start the day for guests at Southern Ocean Lodge. The award-winning luxury lodge on Kangaroo Island’s remote southwest coast offers guests a once-in-a-lifetime private moment with these impressive mammals as the day breaks over Seal Bay.
Bookable on a private basis for solo travelers, couples, families and small groups, the Seal Bay Sunrise Exclusive guarantees private access to the Seal Bay Conservation Park and promises a tranquil and unforgettable experience with the resident sea lions.
Around a thousand sea lions live at Seal Bay, making it Australia’s third-largest sea lion colony. Reminiscent of the Galapagos, sea lions frolic in abundance in the sand dunes, on the beach and in the waves to the delight of visitors. By special arrangement with South Australia’s Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources which manages the Park, the Lodge has exclusive access to Seal Bay in the quiet of the morning before it opens to the public.
The Seal Bay Sunrise Exclusive includes a personally-guided encounter with sea lions led by a Southern Ocean Lodge guide, followed by a gourmet breakfast served on the beach at Bales Beach.
