The museum tells the story of the people who lived on this magnificent part of the Murray River
Come and see our brand new displays in the old Schoolhouse.
New buildings display stories of the Telegraph, the blacksmith, the ferryman and the workmaen who built the William Randell Lock, lock 1, the first constructed on the Murray.
The museum's colection consists of documents, photographs and histroical items from Swa Reach and river and rural communities of Murkbo, Maggea, Cooeville, Bowhill, Black Hill and Blanchetown.
