Guided walk along Ngak Indau Wetland Trail
You’re invited to celebrate Murray River National Park this September.
Join a guided walk with members from the Riverland Friends of Parks along the open section of the Ngak Indau Wetland Trail. Learn about the wetlands and associated floodplain vegetation.
Experience the sounds and sights of nature as you walk through the changing landscape. You’ll visit the new bird hide and quietly watch the birdlife go about it’s daily business. Kangaroos are often seen on this walk and you may be lucky to spot a spoon bill, darters, pelican, australian shelduck or whistling kite.
This is an easy walk suited to people of all ages. The track is a little uneven in places but there are no hills to climb. Only an average fitness level required.
