QUENCH YOUR THIRST IN ONE OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA'S MOST UNIQUE WINE REGIONS.
Relaxing can be thirsty work, and nothing quenches a thirst better than a cold beer or a drop of wine. Luckily you’ll find both in the Riverland.
The Riverland has two artisan beer producers. The Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery is located on the banks of the Murray River and offers a variety of beers as well as an apple and pear cider. Guided tours are available.
As well as producing excellent wine, Caudo Vineyard produces a refreshing lager and sassy Sangria. Try them with one of their local tasting platters or cook your own barbecue grill. For some of South Australia's best locally-made spirits, the Riverland's 23rd Street Distillery is a must-visit.
The Riverland is one of Australia's largest grape growing regions. It has many cellar doors set in beautiful surrounds where you can taste and purchase exceptional wines.
Banrock Station is set among an impressive wetland environment. Stroll down scenic walking trails; do a spot of bird watching and discover native wildlife.
Some of the region's best wineries include 919 Wines, Banrock Station, Angove Wines, Berri Estates, Mallee Estates, Salena Estate, the Murray River Queen cellar door and Burk Salter cellar door.
No matter where you travel, you'll never be far away from a great drop.
