Adelaide Fringe 2018
When: 16 February to 18 March
Where: Various locations throughout South Australia
What: The Adelaide Fringe is the largest (and best, even if we do say so ourselves) open-access festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Bursting at the seams with local, interstate and international five-star acts, last year’s Fringe well and truly took over the State, with 1,166 registered shows playing in 500 venues scattered around South Australia. Whether you’re a cabaret connoisseur, comedy king/queen, theatre tragic or just want to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for you at the Adelaide Fringe.

What: Sounds from around the world will fill Adelaide’s beautiful Botanic Park as part of WOMADelaide 2018. Awarded Australia's best contemporary music festival at the Helpmann Awards, WOMAD is Australia’s ultimate feast for the senses in Adelaide’s Botanic Park - a glorious 34-hectare green oasis. WOMADelaide assembles a wonderfully diverse program of global sounds, sights, flavours and ideas, on and off 8 stages.

Adelaide Festival 2018

Adelaide 500 2018
When: 1 March to 4 March
Where: Victoria Park, Adelaide
What: The Adelaide 500 is the largest domestic motor sport event in Australia, showcasing the very best of the motoring world. Experience the growls, roars and screeches of some of the fastest cars in the world. If you’re automotive-inclined, you’d be mad to miss out. Each night, the Adelaide 500 stage will come to life with Robbie Williams headlining and a range of excellent acts following. You’ll also find loads of entertainment for the whole family, including family fun zones, rides, amusements and face painting.

Where: Various wineries in the Adelaide Hills
What: From 26 to 28 January, The Adelaide Hills will be alive with the sound of bottles popping and pouring for Crush 2018. Famed for their cool-climate blends, the Adelaide Hills’ best wineries will be showing-off their produce at lavish degustation dinners, long lunches, decadent tasting sessions, croquet days and Mexican fiestas.

ISPS HANDA Women's Australian Open 2018

What: The ISPS HANDA Women’s Australian Open is one of Australia’s greatest female sporting events, set in the stunning surrounds of Kooyonga Golf Club. The tournament brings together the world’s finest players, all under the banner of the global LPGA Tour. It’s a must-see event not only for golf aficionados, but for those who just want to soak up the atmosphere of a truly global event.
One Day International Series: Australia v England
When: 26 January
Where: Adelaide Oval
What: Adelaide Oval welcomes the return of 50-over cricket on Australia Day 2018 as Australia hosts England in the One Day International Series. One Day Internationals don’t get much bigger than this with Australia and England facing-off at the Adelaide Oval on Friday, 26 January.
The Moseley Beach Club
When: 17 January to 2 April
Where: Glenelg Beach, Adelaide
What: Glenelg’s famed Moseley Bar and Kitchen has launched Australia’s first beach club along the shore of beautiful Glenelg Beach. Luring crowds to white sand and crystal-clear water, the Moseley Beach Club offers premium sun beds, fully-serviced lounges, casual dining, bar, live music and DJs. With a capacity of 350, the Moseley Beach Club was inspired by super-premium lounges throughout Europe and Southeast Asia.
St Jerome's Laneway Festival 2018
When: 2 February
Where: Mundy Street, Port Adelaide
What: International music festival, Laneway, is all about showcasing contemporary Australian and international music in a totally unique setting. After attracting record-breaking numbers last year, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is returning to trendy, street art-splashed Port Adelaide in 2018 set among vibrant cafés, galleries, restaurants and markets.

Fridays After Five
When: Every Friday, 3 November to 30 March
Where: Old Coach Road, Aldinga

Fridays After Five is the perfect way to spend a Friday night this summer.
