Deep Creek Conservation Park
Deep Creek Conservation Park has five campgrounds to choose from and is a bushwalker's delight. It's also the start of the Heysen Trail. A beautiful and challenging clifftop walk is one of the many highlights of the area.
A short hike will give you spectacular views over Backstairs Passage, the stretch of water between Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island with 18 kilometres of stunning coastline to admire.
See echidnas, kangaroos and birds in natural settings, between lush vegetated valleys of yacka and beautiful bushland.
Newland Head Conservation Park
Roll out of your tent right next to the beach at the Waitpinga Campground in the Newland Head Conservation Park. It's a great place to base yourself for beach fishing with plenty of spots nearby to catch a mulloway or two.
