Barossa Visitor Information Centres

Begin your time in the Barossa with a visit to one of the three Visitor Information Centres in the region and collect the latest maps and information.

Get great local advice and tips

As you travel throughout the Barossa look out for a bright blue and yellow "i" sign. These "i" signs are displayed by accredited Visitor Information Centres which are open seven days a week. They'll provide you with all the information you need for your travels around the region.

The Barossa Visitor Information Centre 

The Barossa Visitor Centre is co-located with the library in Tanunda and can assist visitors with regional maps, guides, books and information on the Barossa.

The centre offers free wi-fi internet access and internet stations, accommodation, attraction and tour reservation services. It also includes Butcher, Baker, Winemaker VIP vouchers, local produce, coffee, exclusive gifts and souvenirs. 

Car parking is provided at the rear of the centre off Julius Street.

Gawler Visitor Information Centre
Stop at the Gawler Visitor Information Centre on your way into the Barossa. It's on a state bus route from Adelaide and also has easy car parking. The centre has about 2,500 visitors every month.

The staff are locals and know everything about the area. They're more than happy to assist with any enquiry.

Find things to do, places to stay and local history. Get internet access and buy bus and train tickets. The centre also sells souvenirs and local crafts.

Kapunda Visitor Information Centre
You'll find the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre in the same building as the local library, art gallery and craft shop. All three are in a heritage listed.

You can buy local souvenirs and friendly staff at the centre can assist with local and regional queries. The centre stocks a range of tourism brochures and books and has the popular "Taste of the Region" interpretive display.
