--This event will be held in The Old Cycle Hall (officially Alex Roberts Centre) in Vansittart Park (entry via Victoria Terrace), not Mount Gambier Cycling Club. Please be aware of this! Raised on a farm by the seaside in rural South Australia, Holly 'Cookie' Baker's trademark sparkling vocals and the poetic grit of her cool wordsmithery paint a portrait of this pint-sized melodic force to be reckoned with. Now based on Kaurna land, Cookie creates lyrically-rich alternative country folk and dreamy pop that is all at once breathtakingly intimate, dynamic and compelling. Cookie comes to the unique and historic Old Cycle Hall - activated specifically for this event - to share this intimate listening experience in duo performance mode with long-time musical partner, Jaan Kiploks, as part of her 17-date 'Where Do You Go In The Winter?' tour taking in Aotearoa/NZ and Aus, before her first new music releases in five years.
