Have you ever dreamed of creating perfect, melt-in-your-mouth scones? Your dream can become a reality with Beerenberg’s Hands-On Scone Masterclass. Prepare to roll up your sleeves and be led by Beerenberg’s Executive Farm Chef David Bennett, in their Grant’s Kitchen classroom.

In this class you’ll learn the secrets to achieving the perfect scone with both an irresistible taste and texture – light, flaky, and utterly irresistible. Chef David will share his grandmother’s secret recipe which just so happens to be the same one they use right here at the Beerenberg Farm Café.

Chef David serves 500+ scones a week at the Farm Café… so it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about the perfect scone.

In this class, you’ll uncover every aspect, from ingredient selection and equipment use to shaping, cutting, and baking. You’ll learn tips for different flavours and add-ins ranging from traditional flavours to modern twists. You’ll gain the confidence and skills to create scones at home anytime.

While you wait for your scone to cook you’ll be treated to a Beerenberg afternoon tea. Enjoy a glass of prosecco (or soft alternative), scones (they've prepared earlier), a lovely fruit platter and a tea or filtered coffee, before taking your very own scones home with Beerenberg jam and cream.
