The Semaphore Greek Festival is one of the premier Greek cultural festivals in Australia and one of the largest of its kind in Australia under the auspices of the Government of South Australia and Port Adelaide Council.
The Festival is a volunteer driven event and provides members of the community from all backgrounds a vibrant experience of Greek culture, music, dancing and food in a family friendly atmosphere. The longstanding Semaphore Greek Festival is focused on promoting and supporting the Australian multicultural ideals for cohesion, maintenance of heritage, traditions and sharing of cultural experiences.
Many generations of local volunteers dedicate endless hours to make the festival a success. It is this community and family spirit that underpins the success of the Semaphore Greek Festival.
