A Body to Live In

Adelaide

From $20.00
Event
As part of the Adelaide Queer Film Festival: A Body to Live In uses archival materials, oral histories, and experimental filmmaking to trace the history of queer body modification from underground artist and 'modern primitive' pioneer Fakir Musafar through to the present. The film is a powerful meditation on the relationship between the body and the spirit as well as community, identity, and belonging.
