The Adelaide Jazz Festival introduces 'Adelaide International Jazz Festival (AIJF) Presents', featuring national and international jazz acts touring the country. AIJF Presents has two distinctive acts already heading our way this October, co-presented by Hal's Hall and the Elder Conservatorium (Jazz).

Dutch duo Wolfert Brederode and Joost Lijbaart are renowned in the European jazz scene for their innovative and emotive performances. Brederode is a jazz pianist with a distinctive style that blends elements of classical music with contemporary jazz improvisation. Lijbaart is a highly skilled drummer and percussionist who brings a dynamic energy to their collaborations, participating rhythmically and melodically in their improvisations. They perform at the Scott Theatre on Wednesday 29 October.

Kristin Berardi is one of Australia's most outstanding jazz vocalists with numerous national awards. She is also the only vocalist to win the National Freedman Fellowship for jazz, and won the Montreux Jazz Festival's International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2006. Now based in Switzerland, it's a rare treat to have her back in Australia.

She is joined by long-time collaborator, award-winning bassist Sam Anning, a major player in Australian jazz. They'll be performing original compositions in this exclusive Adelaide show at Hal's Hall on Sunday 26 October.

Tickets are strictly limited for both concerts and are already selling fast. More details and bookings via the link below.
